Wakeford Digital recently had the opportunity to work alongside Hobart Mazda, capturing the fan engagement event featuring the Tasmanian Jack Jumpers basketball team.
Our goal was to capture the essence of fan interactions during this memorable day through our Hobart videography and photography services, focusing particularly on moments where fans, many of whom were enthusiastic children, met their favourite JJ's players.
Our team was tasked with capturing the interactions throughout the event, from fans getting their merchandise signed, photo booth moments right the way through to the excitement of meeting the Jack Jumpers.
From a project perspective, capturing these genuine, heartfelt moments required a keen sense of timing to reflect the true atmosphere and emotion of the afternoon event.
Check out our short highlights video in the player below:
The primary challenge was to convey the 'vibe' of the event accurately—highlighting the anticipation and celebration of basketball.
Our approach focussed on being agile and attentive, ensuring we captured the impactful moments that truly encapsulated the fan experience.
Recognising the importance of timely content, our team successfully delivered the video content in under two hours, enabling Hobart Mazda to share the event’s highlights on their social media platforms that same evening. This swift turnaround ensured the content remained relevant and maximised engagement with the audience.

This project was a great example of Wakeford Digital’s ability to providing high-quality videography and photography that captures and conveys the essence of client events.
A medium sized gallery of photos, as well as shorts highlights video, was provided to the client for their immediate use.
Our work with Mazda and the Tasmanian Jack Jumpers not only allowed us to showcase our capability to capture meaningful moments but also reinforced the impact of timely, engaging content.
