Exploring Corinna Wilderness: Partnering with Tasmania’s Eco-Tourism Gem

Recently, the Wakeford Digital team had the opportunity to spend a weekend at the Corinna Wilderness Experience, one of Tasmania’s most unique eco-tourism destinations.

This trip wasn’t just a chance to explore the rugged beauty of the west coast—it was also part of our exciting new relationship with Corinna working on a range of services, including digital marketing, website development, and content creation.

As part of our collaboration, we’ve already launched a series of video social media ad campaigns, designed to capture the essence of Corinna’s off-the-grid adventure. These ads have been a fantastic start to showcasing what makes this destination so special to eco-tourists and adventurers alike.

However to truly understand Corinna and what we’re representing, it was important for us to experience it firsthand...

The trip to Corinna took us through Tasmania’s iconic landscapes, with stops in the historic towns of Queenstown and Zeehan. Arriving at Corinna was incredible, with no WiFi or phone reception, the experience was a welcome digital detox—allowing us to disconnect and fully appreciate the wilderness around us.

Sitting by the cozy fire, we enjoyed board games, reading, and the kind of quiet that’s hard to find in today’s fast-paced world.

One of the highlights of the trip was undoubtedly the famous Pieman River cruise.

The knowledgeable cruise staff shared the rich history of the area, while we soaked in the incredible diversity of the landscape—from ancient rainforests to serene riverscapes.

It was a rare opportunity to witness Tasmania’s wild beauty, and as the weather shifted through all four seasons in one day, we couldn’t have asked for a more immersive experience.

The hospitality at Corinna was also exceptional, with the team welcoming us warmly from the moment we arrived. Their dedication to eco-tourism and sustainability is inspiring, and it aligns perfectly with Wakeford Digital’s focus on promoting businesses that are committed to environmental responsibility.
