Wildlife Network Tasmania
The Wildlife Network Tasmania website required a flexible, staged approach to accommodate ongoing content updates. The initial site structure needed enhancements for usability, comprehensive resource integration, and futureproofing to handle expanding content, such as training events and volunteer information.
View live project →We are exited to share the successful development of the Wildlife Network Tasmania (WNT) website, a project that has been an great example of a collaborative relationship and an outcome that can be summarised as strongly on brand.
Recognisable branding is crucial in this sector and we've ensured that the website not only aligns with WNT's identity but also enhances it.
This is specifically achieved through small gestures - such as incorporating elements of the logo (the illustrated animals) throughout the website which helps enhance this brand consistency.
The website features a bit more of a complex structure with moving parts, reflecting the diverse needs of WNT.
A staged approach by the client also meant that we worked closely to achieve the goals, even adding whole sections after the initial launch.
Webflow's CMS played a pivotal role in managing this complexity - for instance, uploading a resource to one collection ensures it appears on the resource page and other relevant areas automatically, streamlining ongoing use for the client.
While SEO wasn't a primary focus for this project, we still implemented strong fundamentals, including clear headings, meta descriptions, and optimised images.
Additionally, we helped add features like an FAQ section to convey key information effectively.
The menu design evolved during the project, starting with one primary menu and later incorporating a secondary menu to maintain clarity as more content was added.
A notable feature is the training calendar. To keep costs low while providing a functional system, we used Webflow's CMS and our development skills to create a comprehensive events calendar within Webflow.
Overall, it has been a pleasure to help WNT establish an online presence they can be proud of, creating an engaging and informative online hub for WNT as we thank Ann and the team for the opportunity.
