Tasmanian Bike Collective

Ant and the Tasmanian Bike Collective team were after a vibrant, informative website update that promoted the incredible work they are doing within the Tasmanian community.

Project Problem Statement

Expanding on the existing program (and website) with the Risdon Vale Bike Collective - the Tasmanian Bike Collective is the next step both from a business sense, and online, for Ant. The new website needed to both organise and present a variety of information - but importantly it needed to proudly represent the different collectives, work being done and collect information from visitors.

  • comprehensive website design and development;
  • consideration to existing branding;
  • mobile and tablet views;
  • basic SEO.

Project Outcomes

We really (really) love the launch version of the Tasmanian Bike Collective website - feeling it achieves the goals in terms of presenting content (both text and images) in an engaging way.

The design and colours stem from the strong branding that the Risdon Vale Bike Collective presented, enhancing these elements with a much stronger visual focus through the use of big imagery.

An important strategy was how to collect specific information from visitors under the "buy", "donate", "give" and "volunteer" areas.

It was important to present the information on these specific landing pages, but - through discussion with the client - we added dedicated contact forms to these pages; something which has already proven successful with a handful of form submissions.

The website also enables Ant and the team to disseminate updates and news to the community through the News page of the website - something that (through the helpful video from Domin8 Designs) the team have been easily doing in house.
